Sometimes a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.
So I decided I was going to venture out in public wearing leggings- even though I KNOW Colby has an extremely strong dislike for them. I was headed out for a girls' night of Bunco and thought I'd throw caution to the wind and wear what I wanted to.
Even though I'd have a 95% chance of Colby seeing me before I changed into pj's.
Well, sure enough, as I walked into Colby's parents' house to pick up the boys and give my hubby a kiss my hubby was less than pleased with my choice of wardrobe. (Perhaps I should have held on a little more tightly to that caution...) He had a hard time keeping a straight face and soon disappeared. After a while Tyler and I started looking for him. After a little bit longer Colby came walking in from the garage with the clipper bag in his hand.
Yes, this was my punishment for wearing leggings.
My response: Ewww.
The hubs says if I can wear things that he doesn't like, he can have hair that I don't like.

ReplyDeleteOh man... that would so not fly with me! I informed Bryan long before we were married that I was the style guru and that he'd basically be dressing/cutting his hear/using whatever skin care products I told him to for the rest of his life! Ha ha ha... you have a very brave husband.

ReplyDeleteColby did not make a fair trade. An outfit can be changed in a matter of seconds to minutes depending o upon the person. A haircut can take from a month to years to grow back out (thank goodness Colby is in the month category).
With that being said, you should get to wear leggings whenever you want until his hair grows out, right?

Bahahahaha. Hilarious. At least it was an intentional shave, unlike poor Henry's frequent accidental baldness. I have been putting off cutting his hair because of it.
